Everyone has their weak spot. The one thing that, despite your best efforts, will always bring you to your knees, regardless of how strong you are otherwise.Lock and Key - Sarah Dessen
It’s a lot easier to be lost than found. It’s the reason we’re always searching and rarely discovered—so many locks not enough keys.Lock & Key - Sarah Dessen
Hard Luck (The Diary of the Wimpy Kid 8) - Jeff Kinney
I know Mom’s always saying friends come and go and family’s forever, and maybe that’s true.
But your family isn’t gonna be there when Meckley Mingo chases you with his belt on your way home from school.
[Yes, I know this is a middle-school book and I’m probably getting a tad bit too old for it, BUT I’VE GROWN UP READING THIS SERIES. NO ONE CAN SEPARATE US. NO ONE.]
With that out of the way, HELLO THERE!
I finished this book in 2 hours last night as a reward for finishing my Physics, Biology and AP Math homework in less than 2 hours. It was everything I expected it to be: fun, witty, a bit predictable, yes, but still undoubtedly entertaining.
The book starts where the last one left, with Greg and Rowley still fighting and all (Rowley got himself a girlfriend and starts all mature and spineless and everything). The plot basically revolves around how different Greg’s life is without Rowley, his bag-carrying, dog-poo-alarm, milk-blowing friend, and how he is trying to find a friend, but can’t seem to find one that will stick.
I’m not really sure what else I can say about this book. The writing is obviously attended for younger readers, and the characters are made annoying on purpose. I think that’s all.
4/5 Magic 8 Balls! (This is the ratings for a children’s book. Don’t ever compare it with the other books I gave 4/5 stars to.)
charismatic-pjs asked: Oh gawsh. You're my fave blog. Why have I not found you before. My blog of reblogs was nothing until I saw yours. In simple words- roses are red, violets are blue, I love this blog, I'll always stalk you. (:
Oh lord THANK YOU SO MUCH! This means a lot to me. Thank you so much. I’m sorry I haven’t been on much lately, it’s just that school has been… Well, school-like. You know how it is.
Again, THANK YOU!
The 50th anniversary, a new blog post from John and now a new TRAILER! Oh, it’s CHRISTMAS!
